Originally built as a horse stable to serve the structure at 243-45 West Fayette Street, this building was renovated in 1987 for retail purposes.  This is the last remaining, relatively intact stable in the Armory Square district. It is a two story structure in the Italianate style, with its brick material, size and scale all in harmony, contributing well to the façade along Walton Street.
